You know there's more to life.
So do we.
Santa Cruz, February 21 - March 2
the single most transformative experience of their lives
Real growth in real relationships.
Develop lifelong emotional skills through immersive, in-person experiences with peers.
This was the most astounding experience of my life...I feel like a different person. I’m so much more confident and powerful. I feel capable of taking care of myself, being fully responsible for my emotions and energy, and having deep, fulfilling connections with others from a grounded place.
- Sleepawake Camper, 2023
Sleepawake Immersive is a crash course in skills that are essential to fostering a sense of happiness and wellbeing -- not just on retreat, but for the rest of your life.
We'll cover relational skills like boundary setting, caretaking, and showing up authentically, because the quality of our relationships is foundational to our lifelong wellbeing. We'll explore our relationships to self expression and power. We'll uncover limiting beliefs and find a deeper understanding of what we really want. We'll dance, move, cry, sing, laugh, play -- we'll open up more deeply to what it feels like to be human.
We think that relational skills are best learned experientially, and are rarely addressed through meditation or 1:1 therapy alone. Although there will be concepts and tools to anchor to, this will be an immersion in feeling your power and learning how to come back into connection in moments of withdrawal, collapse, or resentment. This program is not designed to be a peak experience; it's designed to help you build lifelong skills and resilience.
To support this experiential model of learning, attendance to Sleepawake Immersive is capped to maintain a 5:1 attendee to facilitator ratio. Tuition also includes a series of integration calls after the retreat to support you in bringing these learnings into your life.
- Cat Tweedie, CEO & Lead Facilitator
"Sleepawake was the most incredible gift I've ever received. Every day, I felt invited to embrace and love the full breadth and depth of my experience. With this invitation, I started a new relationship with many parts of myself."

It's important to us that we make sure each person who comes to the program is a good fit -- meaning that they are set up well to be able to receive the gifts this program has to offer. Because of that, we do have an application process for this intensive. It consists of a few short answer questions, followed by a 30 minute interview. In total we expect the process to take under an hour, spread over a few weeks.
Send an email to us at info@sleepawake.camp and we'll take it from there.
We work backwards to set tuition and food & accommodations pricing to reflect the actual cost that we are investing to make this program happen. Food & accommodations are a direct reflection of the cost of the venue and food alone. Tuition covers part of the costs of keeping Sleepawake's lights on for the months it takes us to run operations to make this event happen, as well as modest facilitator wages and a very small marketing budget (<5%).
Sleepawake doesn't use a specific program, modality, or theory of practice. Instead, it uses many! The combined experience of our team allows us to embrace all sorts of practices and use them in tandem.
Some of our team's experience includes Byron Katie’s The Work, Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, Alexander Lowen’s Bioenergetics, Integral Theory, as well as a deep appreciation of the evolution of consciousness and the sources of human suffering and joy.
